Description:
- Your magic turns creatures into natural beasts. Choose up to eight willing creatures participating in this ritual, and also yourself if you choose to. You transform each target into the form of a Large or smaller beast for the duration of this ritual.
- The transformation lasts for the duration for each target, until the target drops to 0 hit points or dies, or until the target ends the transformation as a minor action. You can choose a different form for each target, and each target can change the form to that of a different beast as a minor action. The target's statistics remain unchanged, except for its speed and size, and the only powers it can use are melee basic attacks and powers with the Beast Form keyword. The target's equipment becomes part of its animal shape, and it continues to gain the benefits of the equipment it wears, except a shield.
- While equipment is part of this animal shape, it cannot be removed, and anything in a container that is part of the animal shape is inaccessible.
- Each target gains the following speed(s), which cannot be increased.

Description:
- For the duration, you can read the thoughts of certain creatures.
- As a standard action, you can focus your mind on any one creature that you can see within 30 feet of you. If the creature you choose has an Intelligence of 3 or lower or doesn't speak any language, the creature is unaffected.
- You initially learn the surface thoughts of the creature-what is most on its mind in that moment. As a standard action, you can either shift your attention to another creature's thoughts or attempt to probe deeper into the same creature's mind. If you probe deeper, the target must make a Will defense roll with a DC of your level + 25. If it fails, you gain insight into its reasoning (if any), its emotional state, and something that looms large in its mind (such as something it worries over, loves, or hates). If it succeeds, the ritual ends. Either way, the target knows that you are probing into its mind, and unless you shift your attention to another creature's thoughts, the creature can use its action on its turn to make an Intelligence check contested by your Intelligence check; if it succeeds, the ritual ends.
- Questions verbally directed at the target creature naturally shape the course of its thoughts, so this ritual is particularly effective as part of an interrogation.
- You can also use this spell to detect the presence of thinking creatures you can't see. When you cast the ritual or as your standard action during the duration, you can search for thoughts within 30 feet of you. The ritual can penetrate barriers, but 2 feet of rock, 2 inches of any metal other than lead, or a thin sheet of lead blocks you. You can't detect a creature with an lntelligence of 3 or lower or one that doesn't speak any language. Once you detect the presence of a creature in this way, you can read its thoughts for the rest of the duration as described above, even if you can't see it, but it must still be within range.

- When this ritual is completed, choose a single helpless or willing creature with an origin other than natural, which is contained within and affected by a magic circle. The level of the creature must not exceed the caster's check result minus 10. The magic circle must be within the ritual caster's line of sight, and the ritual has a maximum range that equals the diameter of the magic circle chosen. The chosen creature disappears, after which the focus cannot be used to bind another creature until the first one is freed.
- A creature can be freed from this ritual only by performing the ritual again with the same focus at no component cost, but the check result must exceed that of the original casting. A creature may also be freed by the direct intervention of fate or a deity, or by the effect of a sufficiently powerful eldritch machine (DM's discretion).
- Focus: A magically reinforced orb of a single type of precious stone.
